2020 Registration

In-Person Registration and Verification Dates

Hey Bulldogs! In-person registration opportunities will be available on the following dates. We will limit the number of people entering the building and will be observing social distancing. 

  • Saturday July 11th 9am - 12pm
  • Tuesday July 14th 6pm - 8pm
  • Saturday July 18th 9am - 12pm

Crete Township Hall - 1367 Wood Street in Crete.

Computers will be available. Expedite the process by creating a SportsEngine Account and registering via the link above. Your verification then only requires confirmation of your registration and volunteer duties and a few signatures.

In order to register you must first sign up for a Sports Engine account.

Exciting changes are here for Fall 2020 - registration and signing up for volunteer duties have now moved online!  This provides parents/guardian(s) the convenience of registering, paying fees, and signing up for volunteer commitments from home. In addition, parent/guardian(s) will be able to set up payment plans right through the registration portal and receive their own notifications for when their volunteer responsibilities are.

While a parent/guardian and the player/cheerleader will need to attend an in-person verification (Dates TBD), the online registration will make for a faster verification and checkout.  During the in-person verification, players’ ages and weights will be checked to validate appropriate level.  Cheerleaders’ ages and sizes will be verified for uniforms. Parent/guardian(s) will also be required to sign our Parent Code of Conduct and waiver.

Note:  All new players/cheerleaders must bring proof of health insurance and players must bring copies of their birth certificate. All registrations are subject to approval by the Crete Bulldogs.



Players must be at least 6 years old by September 1st, 2020 and entering first grade. Players cannot turn 15 years old before December 1st, 2020 and may not be entering high school for the 2020-2021 school year.

Football players are assigned to appropriate level first based on age then by weight according to the age and weight matrix established by the Southwest Midget Football League and per the discretion of the Crete Bulldogs.

Football Fees:

  • Registration Fee - $180/child
    • This includes cost of registration, practice jersey to be kept by player, and equipment rental (helmet, shoulder pads, game and practice pants, game jersey, socks, mouthpiece).
  • Refundable Equipment/Volunteer Deposit - $100/child ($200 max per family) Refunded at the end of the season if volunteer duties have been completed and equipment is returned in good condition

Varsity Players Only Additional $55 Fee for 2nd Game Jersey due at time of registration. Varsity players keep this jersey at the conclusion of the season



Cheerleaders must be enrolling in Kindergarten – 8th grade for Fall 2020.  

Cheerleading Fees:

  • Registration Fee - $205/child
    • This includes cost of registration, cheer shoes, and equipment rental (game uniform, cheer jacket, game sweatpants).
  • Refundable Equipment/Volunteer Deposit - $100/child ($200 max per family) Refunded at the end of the season if volunteer duties have been completed and equipment is returned in good condition

Cheer spanx ($15) and bodysuits ($20) are also available for purchase for an additional fee at the time of registration. Returning players may use either of these items from the previous year if they still fit.

Varsity Cheerleaders Only Varsity cheerleaders have the opportunity to purchase their cheer jacket at the conclusion of the season for $55. This is optional.


Volunteer Commitment

Volunteers are the most important part of the Crete Bulldogs organization, and our volunteers are what have driven us forward for more than 50 years! We would not be able to function without the help of our Bulldog family. We require two (2) volunteer commitments per family (no matter the number of registered children). Completion of volunteer duties is required for the refund of the deposit at the end of the season. Volunteer opportunities are available to sign up for via our new system in DIBS. Opportunities are available for Concessions, Fanwear, Clean-Up, Set-Up, Split the Pot, and Banquet. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian(s) to sign up for volunteer commitments equaling two (2) credits according to the value established within the DIBS system. Please note that not all shifts are credited equally.
